Important RARC information for the 2021-2022 school year

RARC 2021-2022- Reaching Beyond the Moon

Get your bots ready… RARC robotics competitions are back!

To maintain consistency competition two and competition three will both continue to be a virtual robotics competition with teams submitting a video of their robots autonomously completing tasks.

LEGO Robotics Platforms

You may be aware that  LEGO®  is retiring the Mindstorm EV3 this summer and replacing it with SPIKE Prime. Schools do not need to purchase this new robot to participate in RARC. For the elementary and middle school divisions, we will continue to accept NXT and EV3 robots.  The new SPIKE Prime will also be allowed.

We can’t wait to see our RARC teams back in action this school year as they compete in RARC 2021-2022 Reaching Beyond the Moon!

The Regional Autonomous Robotics Circuit (RARC) is a series of three robotics competitions for students in grades 2-12. The competitions build upon one another and allow students to showcase their STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) and cyber skills by competing against other students in their division (elementary, middle and Parallax/high school) in a series of integrated challenges.

Supported by the CYBER.ORG, the academic initiative of the Cyber Innovation Center, RARC is made possible with the help of community partners that include school districts, organizations, industry, and volunteers. Click below to read the history of RARC.
