Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the Regional Autonomous Robotics Circuit!

With so many students registering for the competitions during the school year, it takes a small army of volunteers to help make the competitions organized, fun, and rewarding for the students. No previous experience with robotics or competitions is required. Volunteers will be treated to drinks and snacks throughout their shifts.

What: RARC competitions allow students in grades 2-12 to showcase their STEM and cyber skills by competing against other students in challenges.

Who: Volunteers are needed to assist the RARC Committee in the following ways:

o Judge robotics challenges (30 vols./shift)
o Oversee teams in team preparation area (12 vols./shift)
o Measure robots prior to rounds 1 and 2 (1-4 vols./shift)
o Direct teams to open mats (1-2 vols./shift)

Where: The competition will be held held at the Bossier Civic Center at 620 Benton Road, Bossier City, LA 71111

When: The first RARC competition will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2019.

There are three volunteer shifts available at each competition.

Morning: 7:15 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Afternoon: 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

All day: 7:15 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
