Due to Governor Edwards’ extension of the stay-at-home mandate through April 30 and a concern for the health of our RARC students, coaches, volunteers, and supporters, the RARC Committee is canceling RARC North Louisiana Competition 3 on Saturday, May 2, 2020. Refunds will be issued to all teams that have paid Competition 3 registration fees.

The RARC Committee is incredibly proud of the hard work of all teams throughout the 2019-2020 school year and is extremely grateful to all our volunteers and supporters. We are planning a virtual RARC celebration for a date to be determined in May that will include a special announcement from this year’s circuit as well as a reveal for 2020-2021 RARC North Louisiana. Stay tuned for a date and more information!

In the meantime, please know the RARC scholarship deadline has been extended through Friday, April 24, 2020, and the official school transcript requirement is now optional. Additionally, the professional development workshop on grant writing, originally scheduled for April 4, 2020, will be recorded as a webinar to be released at a future date.

Thank you for a farm-tastic RARC experience this year!

Countdown to Competition 3

Welcome to RARC North Louisiana!

The National Integrated Cyber Education Research Center, the academic division of the Cyber Innovation Center, is proud to bring the Regional Autonomous Robotics Circuit to Bossier City with its partners Bossier Parish Schools and the City of Bossier City. The Regional Autonomous Robotics Circuit (RARC) is a series of three competitions for students in grades 2-12. The competitions build upon one another and allow students to showcase their STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) and cyber skills by competing against other students in their division (elementary school, middle school, and Parallax/high school) in a series of integrated challenges. The hands-on challenges serve a dual purpose: introduce STEM concepts and their many applications and reinforce STEM fundamentals learned in the classroom.

The City of Bossier City, RARC of North Louisiana co-sponsor, hosts all three competitions at the Bossier Civic Center.
